Just been looking at the US maps on Google earth and noticed that a huge swathe of the US is visible on Google maps, including the street view option (cant remember the exact name)

The main route that runs through Greensburg is available, taken after the F5 tornado decimated the town in 2007.

It really is quite astonishing - you can see the areas where buildings once stood, and they are VERY numerous. It gives you an idea of how big and powerful the tornado was! Just moving along the road, can you see how far you have to go until you reach buildings which survived. There are still poles bent over, trees stripped and bent to the side!

146 W Kansas Avenue, Greensburg, Kansas - if you head E or W from that point, you can just see the devastation that was caused!
