Another Red Admiral, today...

Snap! :wallbash:

Just a clump of tatty Michaelmas daisy but they're a butterfly magnet at this time of year. Well worth planting some in a quiet corner of the garden

Whilst cutting the lawn today I saw a Red Admiral on my Verbena bonariensis. By far the best plant for Butterflies, I recommend it to anyone who wants to encourage them into the garden.

No bats yetcc_confused.gif

Nope me neither. Getting a new one for christmas & putting it on the front of my house which faces NW.

That means I will have 4 boxes on walls facing South, East & North-ish.

They say give it 2yrs before moving them if you have'nt got any in residence.

The Male bats will be looking for Winter roosting sites at this current time, so maybe one will find your box. Summer is also a good time for bats to look for roosting boxes.

Give it time.
