Hi all, been a while since i posted here. Just had a storm go over about an hour ago. Short lived but very cheeky with it & produced 4 lightning discharges & i managed to catch 2 :D pretty happy with that turn round. The twin effect could well be an effect created by shooting through a double glazed unit & no the tower wasn't struck but i believe it was a church about 300 meters away. Damn it was loud lol. plus some Mammatus after the main action has passed by.post-5916-12484502744092_thumb.jpgpost-5916-12484502929654_thumb.jpgpost-5916-12484503198733_thumb.jpgpost-5916-12484503376286_thumb.jpgpost-5916-12484503622529_thumb.jpgpost-5916-12484503836843_thumb.jpgpost-5916-1248450260871_thumb.jpg

i was walking along in peckham today, and looked up and saw those beauties right above my head. my gauping encouraged others to stare skywards! they were heading NNE, so looks like they developed just as they passed over essex.

    great shots. ghostbusters-esque.
