Nice pics ;)

This sort of Strombolian activity is pretty much ongoing at Anak Krakatau (Child of Krakatoa)but is not really major in terms of eruptive activity. However, at some time in the future the volcano will again go 'bang'. Currently at Alert State 3 (on a scale of 1-5 where 5 is full blown eruption).

    Dramatic picture bet it didnt look so dissimilar on that fateful August day back in 1883, except the dark clouds would have been thick volcanic ash...

    Actually come to think of it its nowt like that day...!!! with huge tidal waves, molten rock the size of cars being ejected hundreds of feet into the air and ear-splitting

    explosions..!
