Same here in "sunny" Somerset.Just in the middle of a very heavy shower.According to the Dunkeswell station it's a very chilly 11.9 degrees.

Behind storms, today's weather is my favourite summer weather. Cool, breezy mixed with warm sunshine and frequent heavy showers - never boring!

A few moderate, briefly heavy, showers this morning with sunny intervals between them. Thunder heard to the south and south west between 1125 and 1200 g.m.t.

The temp' at 1200 g.m.t was 10.2c as a shower was ending, it's now back up to 12.5c.

A mostly sunny day with just a few showers between 11.00-13.00, the only clouds now are small, fast moving Cumulus blowing on a brisk Westerly wind. The temperature is rising at 17.1c and humidity is 65%.

A dull and cloudy, but dry start before a band of thunderstorms passed over, dropping 13.4mm of rain in less than 45 minutes. The heavy rain was accompanied by a sharp temperature fall, at 11.15am it was just 10.7C.

It has now turned dry and sunny again, but its still a rather cool day. The current temperature of 16.5C is the max so far.
