Radar issue - 10:30

Due to an issue at the Met-Office we're currently not recieving radar data which is resulting in a blank radar image being produced. They are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it asap, apologies for any inconvenience that this causes.

Yes, not as impressive as the earlier thunderstorm but good nevertheless! 2nd thunderstorm of the day! :-)

Decent hail in shower at Keele over about 10 minutes, prior to 10 30, didn't cover the ground and no noticeable thunder/lightning though, sounded very dramatic on our refurbished library roof.

Just had storm of the year here, magnificent! But guess where i was, in the shops round the corner, i could not get out, the hail was massive and its caused flooding around here.

Frequent CG'S, there was some rotation too.

It lasted a good 45 mins, one one word for it. WOW!

Gutted i could'nt get any footage.

It was way too dangerous to even risk a 1 mile walk!!

Hi,

Saw it was a bit dark towards the Hull direction, all we got here in Cleethorpes was a heavy shower incluing hail and a rumble of thunder.

Its looking very dark over the Humber at the moment..........

A heavy shower has just passed through here, with about 5 mins of hail, and a few rumbles of thunder, making for some photogenic skies as it passes away to the east..looks like a cluster of showers on SAT24 intensifying as they push eastwards towards the east midlands

Sounds like there is some really exciting activity around at the moment.

Just had a shower here, well the edge of one - it had an developing anvil. Judging by current forecasts though I am not going to expect much in the SE today.

Again I'm not convinced we'll see much today, maybe a slight chance in East Anglia later

Sorry annoying the MetO and therefore NW radars have gone down...all I am doing is left pondering all the action going on...

By the sounds of things (overhearing a phone call) some pretty heavy downpours to the W of London at the moment - not sure how accurate that is.

A fair few showers around this morning. Most are on the heavy side, no Lightning or thunder as of yet.

HAS ANYONE ELSE GOT PROBLEMS WITH THE NET-WEATHER RADAR

funny you should mention that- as I use Raintoday's radar, and they are stuck at 10am! I also read that met office's radar is down too cc_confused.gif

Gone quite gusty and dark! feels as though I'm gonna see a flash of lightning any moment for some reason!

Don't like to suggest a non-NW product, but here are lesser alternatives until METO/NW's system is back up and running:
