A warm and muggy night with heavy rain at times. This continued through the morning and dropped 7.7mm in total. Its now dry but still rather dull.

Last night's min temp was the warmest in August since 1991, at 17.9C. It is now 20.1C but the dewpoint is a vile 18.2C. It peaked at 18.7C earlier, which is probably one of the warmest Ive ever recorded. :lol:

quite a pleasant suprise here, got up and found it at 23.4c, now at 28.2c and was at 29.1c around 30 mins ago! Local stations near me are reporting similar values too!

last night felt worse though for too manny reasons, like dong weights at 11 pm (not te best idea)

I think August CET will turn out higher than July, although somewhat cooler night temps may bring it down.

Best day in a while here. Sunny, light to moderate southerly breeze and about 21C id guess but my temperature/humidity part of my Davis VP2 is still playing up! new sensor should be coming tomorrow after just ordering it today so must say thats quite good service.

Well at long last we have some warm, very warm/humid in fact sunny spells with occasional sharp showers and a temperature of 21.8c while humidity is a stupid 89%!

The flying ants are loving it, it's as if they've been sat under the surface waiting!

As for this morning : persistent, at times heavy, rain gave a 24 hour total of 22.5mm so August is already well above an inch and a half of rain!

Awful here, cloudy, damp and humid. The temperature is close to average at 21.5C but the dewpoint is 19.1C. I dont think Ive ever recorded a dewpoint so high, its so uncomfortable.
