A gorgeous day with clear blue skies & warm sunshine. The city centre (complete with it's 'beach' they've installed for summer) is alive with people having fun outside again. How we've missed that!

Another beautiful day here with a light breeze sunny skies until about and hour ago whence it turned rather cloudy but has remained bright. Temperature at 4-15 was 23.3c but has been much warmer than that. One interesting thing was reported to me,I was playing golf this morning and two of my friends were 15 minutes behind me and they made the following report---at 12-45 they were putting on a green and heard a sudden rustling about 20 yards away in the trees-what they described as a mini tornado of grass and leaves headed towards them and nearly blew them over ,it continued to move for another 20 yards or so and then dissipated,regrettably I cannot confirm this phenonema but have the individuals names and phone numbers should anyone wish to investigate further.
