Mmm was expecting a much better day than we recieved here in the Lake District. I went walking up Helvellyn. The morning got off to a very cloudy murky misty start and the cloud took until 10am to clear away from the tops, however, it never really dissapeared and by early afternoon it had filled in much of the sky, the rest of the day was mainly cloudy with one or two breaks. Quite windy in the hills making it feel rather cool for early August.

Tomorrow is looking quite poor, expecting plenty of low cloud to be shrouding the hills and that lovely light rain/drizzle on and off for much of the day.. mmm can't wait..
