A cloudy and humid day. Internittent light rain and drizzle since 0700, more especially 08-1000 and 17-1800. Dry past few hours. The north of Ceredigion caught heavy rain this morning, with over 20mm in parts for the past 24 hours, and enough to swell and close the ford at Llanrhystud (I drove through it at about 5 inches depth this morning, but it was closed with nearer a foot this evening).

Hill fog down to below 200masl along the coastal strip all day.

Moderate WSW breeze.

A rather warm muggy day. Mainly cloudy, stayed dry in Reading, although I drove through plenty of patchy rain on today's journey to King's Lynn and back. Currently overcast, temperature 19.2, maximum 23.3, last night's minimum 15.8.
