    sun now coming out as the Sc sheet thins, and breaks as it clears east. Slight rain overnight and a low of 13.7C; its now 14.6C in a mainly light WSW breeze.

    Turned very dull & cloudy with a strong wind. Despite being 19.1c it feels chilly. Awaiting an improvement as already my colleague is whining about me having the window open... oh how I haven't missed 'window wars' over the summer!

    A reasonable day, but lacking yesterday's bright sunshine. Sunny start, but clouded over during the morning - the afternoon has been mostly cloudy with a few bright spells. Moderate W wind.

    Here in the south it does seem the weather is having a go at making up for a wet July - apart from a modest amount of rainfall last Wednesday night and a little drizzle early Saturday morning we've had a whole week of dry weather with above average temperatures.

    More in the way of sunshine coming through recently in Norwich- reasonably bright and warm with 22C. Overall quite a bit more sunshine over the last few days than we've been used to so far this month.
