    Last evening was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen!

    Lightning and red rainbow all at the same time!

    Yet another storm for you Jurgen, This one looks like it was more of a photogenic storm than the violent ones you have had recently.

    Jurgen - What camera and settings are you using for such crisp pictures?!

    For the lightning photos I used the Canon EOS350D, Sigma 18mm-200mm telelens, M-setting,f6.3, 100 ISO, 1s on a tripod and a lot of luck.....

    Because this lightningstorm was in daytime it is much harder to take lightning photos, if it was in nighttime it is much easier, 10s exposure at 100 ISO isn't a problem.
