April Showers In August And An Evening Thunderstorm

Friday 28th August

Plenty of showers passed through during the morning hours on a very strong westerly wind which veered more northwesterly later in the day allowing most showers in the afternoon to move southwards. However, a thundery trough then moved southwards later in the evening. I only heard a few rumbles and most of the worst passed to the east and west of here though Bristol was hit by driving rain, hail, very gusty winds, thunder and lightning from the storm in the last few photos.
