The Forecast Is... Changeable

I like it - it gives a chance of tying it down more accurately (a bit tongue in cheek) to the various geographical areas of the UK.

What I did not like was the changing in the shipping forecast of Finistere to Fitzroy. I know that Fitzroy was a pioneer in developing our meteorological techniques but I am a traditionlist.

Incidentally, the name Fitzroy is a Norman/Irish name developed from fils (son) and roi (king), so I suppose it could be somewhat apt in this connection by virtue of its location but Finistere is a much nicer, more mysterious word.
