Thick fog to start the day again although there were a few patches of clear sky around dawn. It doesn't look as though any rain fell here overnight althought I haven't been out to check the gauges yet. Temp' is 10.7c.

'It has been another very cold night with a sharp air frost, the coldest for October by a large margin since I started keeping records in 2005, minimum air temperature –4.2c, and –6.4c on the grass. Sunny from dawn, but the temperature was still sub-zero at observation at 09:00.

The morning stayed sunny but became rather hazy towards lunch time as high cloud advanced across the area, the afternoon saw the high cloud thicken and the sun blotted out. The evening saw a short light spell of sleet.Top temperature 5.4c around midday, but falling off again during the afternoon. Maximum wind gust 15mph from the ESE.'

An absolute corker of a start! Clear blue skies with some lovely warm sunshine poking through the autumn leaves - it really looks gorgeous out there. Wish I'd taken my camera out - I don't think my mobile phone photo I took of my street will do it justice!

Quite thick fog to start off with this morning. The sun now starting to shine through this but currently still foggy here, although not quite as thick. Mild too showing the humid air that has allowed this fog to form at this temperature. The temp only dropped below 14.5C at about 6am when it began to drop down to last nights low.

A stunner of a day with lots of sunshine and temps maxing so far at 15.1c. Had a lovely lunchtime cycle - everything looks lovely in this sunlight and feels good in this warmth!

Quite breezy now though taking the edge off a bit if you're sat out in it.

Breezy and glorious here, warm. Am relieved, because sometimes a southerly, especially late/early in the year, can bring damp, misty conditions here, due to my location on the coast/in relation to the Bay. It can be a hairsbreath of difference in the wind-direction and other factors

The cloud has been slow to clear here, but we are now getting one or two short sunny intervals. Very mild - expecting a maximum of around 18 - and with no noticeable wind it's feeling very pleasant out there.

Yesterday - cloud cleared in the morning leaving a pleasant sunny day. Cloud returned in the evening. Maximum 17.2, minimum 10.8. Wind moderate SE.
