Anyone else experiencing huge toadstools in their garden this year? I can honestly say that I have never seen so many or so big. I have a large patch of waste ground at the back of the garden which is only used for compost and burning in a brazier. The ground is covered and most of them are in excess of 10-12 inches in height with caps the size of tea plates. They are now appearing on the back and front lawns. Damp/mild weather maybe?

So far this year I've picked about 4 kg of Ceps. Currently gorging on Shaggy inkcaps which are growing in huge numbers after recent rains.
