Horrific weather again overnight - over 2 inches of rain in total, some localised flooding. Now dry and pretty calm with some blue skies.

Ahhh, that's better. A nicer day all round. I drove home at 3am in a swirling wind that threw branches etc at me, and now I can see blue skys at last.

Lookin chillier for the weekend though.

10.9º and hammering it down. Hopefully, it's only a shower though.

Overnight "low" of 10.8º and just 8.4mm since midnight. Because of the recent rain, I'd overlooked that yesterday and today have brought the highest wind gusts this year, and 52mph and 51mph respectively.

I sympathise with all the people suffering flooding, here in the west midlands though we have escaped it and to be honest the rain this morning moved through fast and didnt really amount to much, the countryside isnt that wet actually for the time of year here, breeze has died down and the skies are clearing, a mild 12C currently.

Not a bad day here at all, wind has dropped down, but still a SWerly.

Temp about 13c, but it feels warmer here today- thanks to a lack of wind and the sunshine!
