A few showers around this morning and last night, As well as some strong winds with one of these this morning when a band crossed over even though the rain was only moderate here. Sunny spells with varying cloud since then, a bit more cloud and a few showers around at the moment.

Today is the first day for a while where the temperature has stayed in single figures. The maximum has been 9.7c with some sunny periods but also heavy showers.

Wind up to 40km/h here now, gusting over 60km/h quite often, though nothing damaging yet. 8.0C with light rain though some dark ominous looking clouds rolling in as I type

A band of light-moderate showers moved over here during the late morning followed by a dry spell with a few brief sunny intervals. Further showers have arrived from the west in the last hour but these have been light, no sign of the heavy showers forecast this morning.

The wind has picked up considerably since 1400, currently f5-6 SW and feeling cool with a temp' of 5.5c.
