Which means the science becomes political, as an aside, who funds NASA? Who funds CRU? Who funds NOAA?

No, Matt. It makes the science apolitical...

You'd rather not have NASA or NOAA or the CRU?

hey up I just noticed there's going to be two enquires. One by the ipcc which is a foregone conclusion. Bit like asking Tony Blair to head the Iraq inquiry. The UAE is doing one as well. However it looks like they're investigating themselves so it all looks like window dressing to me.

Who would you have chair the enquiry? Viscount Monckton? Anthony Watts? Or a civil servant?

Ah VP, a voice of sanity in a mad world, thank you, thank you, thank you.

As right as VP is here, he is yet to apologise for his irrational and presumptuous statement about me.

Someone outside the University altogether and outside of the ipcc.

I hope you didn't joke that they should be shot ...... :nonono:

Have you ever confided to a mate that in your opinion someone else is a moron? If so then your are far more guilty than Jones ..... :nonono:

You'd rather not have NASA or NOAA or the CRU?

Some even question the Vatican :nonono:

But the science HAS to become political if anything is to be done.

Well the science says that contrary to the Good Book, the Earth revolves around the Sun and the Sun is not the centre of the universe. But some don't like the science ......

That's just the sort of rational persuasive argument that brings out the best in people:

If that doesn't do the trick expect heretics to be labelled toffs, Etonians, etc.

Guido & co don't call him Jonah for nothing, be afraid etc..........

My goodness climate science really is doomed, when you have Brown calling us all flat earthers, then Miliband calling us deceitful and dangerous. This from a government, which knows all too well how to be dangerous and deceitful. The jolly boys outing in Copenhagen, is already imploding. I'm off to buy some popcorn, this is going to fun to watch! laugh.gif

Righto, we'll close this until AFTER the Investigation releases its findings. At least there should be something real to discuss by then. :wallbash:
