moderate rain since early this morning. rain really not a factor today "well" not here in Glasgow anyway. (12.2mm) so far....

wind however seems to be picking up a great deal from around 9.6mph-16.9mph gusting-30mph

i think the rain warning maybe erring on the side of caution given the further potential risk of flooding in the borders

region.but with the central belt of Scotland really not looking likely for disruption.

Yes its been another very wet day here as well, the rain this evening being particularly heavy and there are numerous reports of roads being closed or impassable and river levels getting to high levels again - all not good news at all and certainly isn't helping things.

However,the foreseeable future is much more positive with either showers or at the most spells of fairly short intense rain, we are loosing the tropical maritime airstream and being replaced by polar maritime air, and not before time I add.
