Whiteout Experience - Grain Snow - Kent Coastline.

Came in very quick from north sea, visability dropped from 4 miles to 250metres in less than a few minutes.

Shower seems to be running the coast into Isle of Sheppy.

To give you an idea of the rate snow is accumilating here, my next door neighbour has already successfully constructed two medium sized snowmen! :D

Well that was brief. Back to broken cloud with the odd blue patch. I suppose it is a little ahead if itself. We did have the odd grain mid-morning. The good thing is they are "little snow". Now for the Big Snow...

Approaching 'blizzard like' conditions have returned once again to Newark. Very dark, strong Easterly wind, huge flakes - Could it get any better? :)

Accumilating rather quickly now, too.

Few light snow showers during the day here in North Norfolk but looking at the radar, there is quite a large section of Norfolk which seems to be missing out. Not sure if this is due to change later? Hope so..I always thought Norfolk did well in an easterly..

The snow shower we had didn't amount to much, blue sky here at the moment but looks like we have some dark clouds heading our way again

Off and on snow showers from about 12pm this afternoon - not sticking at first, but now daylight is on it's way out, it's readily sticking. Nothing too major at present, but looks like things could get dicey overnight.

With 3-4cm's here things are turning very dicey, temperature well below freezing now and some minor roads have been temporarily closed. Not had a shower here for half hour or so but more packing in from the East now... are these likely to remain the same kind of frequeny overnight, or become more/less widespread?

Been snwoing on and off since about 3pm with some quite heavy and blustry downfalls. Nice dusting on most places except the busier roads.

A few grains o the track when I went out running at around noon, a few grains blowing around early afternoon, mainly light and fairly fleeting showers since, though a couple of more moderate ones at around 3:45pm, then 6:30pm, giving a dusting on all surfaces.
