Wintering sheep are acting up today racing round the fields and jumping up in the air with four legs off the ground. The old farmers used to say this was a sign of bad weather coming so they are backing up the models.

Heavy rain cleared to leave a mostly sunny, breezy day with a few light showers this afternoon. The max was 11.6c which must have happened overnight as at 08.00 it was below 9c and has remained below that all day.

A messy day weatherwise. Outbreaks of rain on and off during the morning, drier during the middle of the day, some hefty showers since kate afternoon, we had a very sharp one earlier this evening with gusty winds.

Never felt that pleasant with the gusty winds, not a very useful day - a forgettable weekend, hopefully next weekend will make up for it.
