well run is out any minute...will there be an upgrade or down grade

I'm guessing upgrade but in the long term (ie when it's actually supposed to snow) it'll downgrade dramatically....:winky:

I hope it doesn't but gut feeling won't let me get excited....

Feeling chillier here today (reached the dizzy heights of 4.3C) might be a touch of frost tonight as well, temp down to 2.3C now.

Hardly ground breaking cold though...

I've just got back from the frozen wastelands of the East Midlands (namely Nottingham) and it feels positively balmy by comparison in East Dorset! Think it might be time to fire up that barbecue again! :winky:

Good to see a statement from paul in there, at least its not OTT like some forecasters would do.

Funnily enough my temperatures are not very low, my current temp is 6.6c, but should drop later in the night.

Last nights min here was 3.4c.

I suppose there's always one. I'm not sure if you're trying to wind people up or you're being serious. So, just incase it's the latter, the real cold spell won't be here until Wednesday through to Friday when the bitter ENE airflow sinks southwards across the U.K. Accompanying the cold air will be significant snowfall for eastern parts of the country with perhaps some decent snowfall across northern and central regions of the Midlands.

Something tells me you'll be closing your window when Wednesday arrives, so enjoy the rest of your lovely summer-like evening. :nonono:

Too be honest the thread is a windup. We haven't had a cold spell as such as yet. We may enter a cool spell Wednesday and the pub run does show proper cold on Thursday with -10 pushing in briefly. Fingers crossed eh???
