Had a period of snow here late in the afternoon which managed to give a further light covering despite the snow being fairly wet.

11 days of lying snow here now.:)

Had two beefy snow showers this morning. Added approx 2-3cm to existing snow cover.

Heavy snow showers giving about 1cm so far this evening on top of the considerable cover we have here from last week.

Continuous Blizzards here this am. Amazing how just a few mins down the road in Oldham there is no lying snow & its a whiteout up here. Many local trans-pennine routes are closed. Pics just taken

Wet snow here falling steadily for past 15 minutes after short period of sleet in transition from earlier rain. Lying as slush on ground. (Richhill Co Armagh, elevation approx 200 feet ASL).

Mostly rain and sleet showers during the day at Cleadon, but after 7pm there were showers of hail, sleet and snow, despite temperatures oscillating mostly between 3 and 4C.

Snow and hail showers last night before 11pm and light snow shower starting now.

Have had some hail and snow showers here today,some of which have been heavy adding about 3cm to the existing snow.

Had some hail/snow earlier - some lightning too. Skies have cleared with some cloud and dazzling moonlight over Peterlee, Co. Durham.

A combination of hail, graupel and snow showers in Cleadon, despite fluctuating temperatures due to the wind periodically picking up off the North Sea and warming the coast. Currently a good 3cm on the ground. Two flashes of lightning in the most recent shower.
