After an overcast start there was a gradual clearance from the afternoon onwards, with long clear spells after dark. It was the coldest day of the month so far with a max of 4.2C just after midnight. Cold during the evening with a min of 0.1C.

Currently partly cloudy with a temperature of 0.7C and dewpoint of -0.4C. No measurable rain today.

Can I just point out that it was never Tuesday the 14th Dec and even it had ever been that mongrel day we have now started a nice new shiny thread for the proper Wednesday 16th Dec.
