Thanks for the welcome. I live in mid-Derbyshire.

Sorry to be a pain but i have noticed that a lot of the more experienced posters have uploaded their attached files in such a fashion that when you click on them they expand to a reasonable size and can still be viewed in their entirety unlike the behmoths that I have uploaded.

Any tips as to how this is achieved please?

i upload them to a hosting site called servimg. It gives you a thumbnail bb code that you copy and paste to the thread.

Still snowing here, and the outdoor Christmas tree....a Scot's Pine....makes the scene very festive I think.

Lovely pics :-) Especially the drifts. Reminds me of snow on Cotswolds - often when we get a front moving up it'll be rain down in Cheltenham and snow 200m up, with those lovely windblown drifts. Amazing what a bit of altitude can do.

I love it when you get heavy snow which isn't particularly forecast beforehand.

Here's another one of my outdoor Chrismas tree. It's like something out of Narnia this morning.
