just went outside to see how deep it was and clear our front path... may as well say there's just over an inch in Dover :)

Which part of town are you in?

Thanks MAF, looks ok then! I'm just very disappointed as Friday morning woke to nothing and 15 miles to my West had a few inches then today I wake to find a few miles to my East has it all....I patiently await my turn :)

Just shows how very very localised this can be.

the line of snow is approximately from Margate down to Rye. the radar shows a good chance that the showers will continue for the next hour along that line

I feel your pain, my friend!! But not today!!

Actually getting quite heavy now. And I HAVE woken the kids up - getting the sledge ot of the shed (had it for 9 years without use) and going to stop radar watching and go and play!!

Glad to see you guys in the extreme east have done well overnight. I wonder how my favourite place for a snow chase is looking this morning, Capel-Le-Ferne, between Dover-Folkestone.

Snow chased there in Feb.83 after 36 hours of continuous snow from a streamer, with thundersnow thrown in.

Nearly a foot of level snow and 6 foot+ drifts.

And again in Feb 1994.

No more down here in Folkestone apart from the dusting we got last night. Can't believe that's yet again we've missed out here..

Not impressed.

It's a frigid -5.1c here this morning, clear skies, looks like it's going to be a nice day. Don't think any of the snow melted yesterday.

We had some melting here but only in sourtherly facing areas - most of the snow is still around - it all froze up in the evening whcih meant driving down my road very tricky!

What are people's thoughts regarding tonight's possible snow? Do you think us in the South East will see any of it?
