Started about 11 as snow grains/sleet - I was Inverurie...

... just got home complete whiteout and car abandoned at the end of my road!

Check out the Huntly traffic cam for how it is.

Came down very quickly gotta go back out later too so hope the blowing has stopped by then

Mondays Met Office weather warning now covers the whole of Scotland. I'm now starting to feel that some parts could get loads of snow over the next 3 days.

Yea, seems like they were just waiting to see if it was going to fall as rain/sleet/snow.. well it's definitely Snow here so good look to you in Fife, Embra and Glasgae

Snow a bit lighter in Aberdeen now, not sure whether just temporarily...abandoned cars in Inverurie suggests not!

I suspect it will start as rain here, too much against snow. Although it should turn back to snow before it clears. And I think that's the worst case scenario.

I'll give it another half hour or so, but I don't like the way the east of this front out in the north sea is curling back in again south of Fife! :lol: :lol:

Very sharp back-edge clearance approaching, and the mountains look fantastic!

Perfect set up for snow. Temp is 1.6c with DP of -0.9. Just waiting.

Always a problem. Seasonal-looking snow dusting getting a rapid fright here in Leith. I would rather have held onto what we had than take our chances with whats coming down from the north. By the end of the night we could have less than we started with and that wasn't much to begin with. Oh well que sera sera etc :lol:

I'll find out within the half hour if it's rain, sleet or snow. The sky to my NW is darkening rapidly. Precip at the far side of the Clyde now. Whatever it is it is going to lash it down....
