What is happening with these juicy things in and above Ireland, the 2 bands. Follow the tracks, what is going to happen with them?

Also, is this going to juice up and make it to Shropshire

The southern line of showers (in the 2nd image) looks like it will at least produce showers around Herefordshire. The northern one will get killed by the Berwyns while those echos round Liverpool won't get anywhere near here. Shrewsbury stinks again for snow I fear :)

Well the stuff over Ireland I was expecting to either fizzle out of pivot round into Northwest England.

I've been mentioning the stuff over Wales. I doubt it will get to us...possibly a bit to you in Shrewsbury. I can't help watching it though...it does seem to be holding a bit stronger than stuff earlier today.

So we can't get any snow from an easterly, northerly or thus far westerly- what price a southerly????? Yet again durng this so-called cold snap it's clear but the temp is not dropping as you'd expect.

It wasn`t a straight easterly like last feb which did give 3inches here on that coldest day, this was a N/NE-ly only effecting the east/SE.

As for temps tonight too much of a wind and it`s from the SW so no surprises really, slightly less cold air coming in tonight too still cold enough for snow though.

I've watched 2/3 bands identical to this one over Wales and they've all seriously petered or retracted to the coast. Come on

I expect this one to do the same to be honest....but admit you can't help keeping an eye on them! If they did get further they would still have to cross the Shropshire hills before getting to here anyway.
