.

IS there a warm sector again or what???

I think there has been a misunderstanding of the term warm sector over the last couple of days.

A warm sector is the airmass bounded by a warm front and a cold front. There is no warm sector but the cold polar airmass is getting modified.

What does that mean please?

Snowing lightly. Looks like a streamer setup out in the Irish Sea. I knew I should have got a spade from B&Q last weekend

Another massive disapointment here, barely snowed all day apart from a few 30 second showers and one 5 minute blizzard. I cant believe places further in land like Skipton have had 5 inches when the wind is coming off the sea. A bit miffed.

Classic Stream setup now. Expect a good 2 hours worth of Snowfall, if not more, to fall overnight anywhere in a line between Blackpool-Manchester-Nottingham. Another Streamer setup to the North of that aswell passing from Stranraer through Northern Lancs.

A chance for anywhere between now and Midnight until the Wind Vectors begin to shift and the trailing flow loses the moisture being picked up from the Irish Sea.

Keeping my eye on a Potent Cell just approaching SW Manchester right now, its sustained itself so far for the past 20 minutes and the recent Manchester long-range METAR is spot-on predicting this cell coming in. Nothing Sferic appearing from it juet yet however.

Think the possible streamer might pass to the north of preston unless im reading it wrong. It looks like stuff is starting to shift northwards.
