Thanks Ian for the update. I was wondering how the showers would reach us but now i know wind veers west it makes more sense. Tomorrow looks like another knife edge scenario for us although more likely to be brief rain if it reaches us which is a shame. dry.gif Lets just hope and see if there is another chance running closer to christmas before milder air takes a hold. Watched your forecast earlier and must say i thought you were rather conservative with you minimum air temperature?

Current temperature here is -2.9c with a ground temperature of -4.2.

I think its testament to just how damn friendly the people in the SW are when we have 5 threads to our name and next to no snow :wallbash:

For anyone in the gloucester area, Ive put together this quick page that shows a bunch of webcams from the north, east, south, west of Gloucester.

Handy just to see what the area around us is like.

I think also it maybe because we have always been the most snow starved area people are always looking and talking about the next possible event. If we had had 2/3 heavy falls already like the south east and some areas have then alot of people would have had there fun and wouldnt chat as much about it. pardon.gif

If we'd had snow I'd of been enjoying it, but sadly, the few bits of dust on the ground this morning was no the making of an epic snowman.nonono.gifdrinks.gif

To make a snowman today i'd neead probably 10 square miles, the total amount we've had so far - and then it'd be 98% dog feces. Still ..

Yeah looks like it'll stay marginal at best in the SW for most of next week - we dont have the luxury of extensive snow cover or being so far inland, but the models adjust to what the weather has instore for us as we all know, and when suprises do happen down here, snowfall can be epic, so fingers crossed! :)

The showers that are peping up in the west of the channel seem to be getting their act together. Still all near miss here at the moment but whoever gets into a direct line for them when they track more east could get a dusting up to a cm even? blush.gif

Dreaming maybe but i think it is quite possible.
