yup yup because it was 1c and now 0.6 in space of 10mins :rolleyes:

edit: theres now showers packing in from the west of here gaining intensity a lil!

It's been just snow here, fortunately the mild sector has now passed.

In Garforth the temp is 1c and dew point is 0.5c was 1.4.c 30 minutes ago, so expect all showers to now fall as snow.

It;s balmy, 5.6 in fylindales, must be an error!

....snowing moderately outside at the moment, temp is 0.4 with dp of -0.6.

.....What is that trough looking thing swinging round to a westerly direction over Ireland?

Definately nowhere near as cold as predicted today or this evening , had a top temp of 2.2 here today ! and 0.2 now ! Earlier shower fell as sleet !!

Have we missed something here ? I was expecting an ice day today

Oh really? Cool thanks for that! Just out of interest where can I find my local temps/dewpoints etc, just for future reference? In the meantime i'm going to scrutinize the radar to try and find the inevitable gap in the showers which will surely head straight for me!!

I can only suggest at Topcliffe that some cloud and a westerly drift rolled in. The temp rose rapidly here from -3.9 to -1.8 in 20 mins here when a fragmenting shower headed towards us earlier, now falling again. But it didn't see it at -7, was it really or was 0.7 misread??? - an easy mistake!

Not snowing here as yet , i am however expecting a few showers through the night , hoping also that this temp drops ... Looks like the 'mildest' ( if you can call it that ) night so far of the last 5 !!

Since 12 we have had snow / sleet showers till 8

Its raining again

Roads are poor off the beaten track

I can see a shower that looks to be on course with Doncaster :)

Over here and the temp is now -0.4c with mostly clear skies.
