There's a deep Orange glow to the South & East now, have a funny feeling it will just miss this area!

There's no chance of it reaching our area, but im not fussed as we've got a good covering already

The temp is dropping fairly quickly now.

It's getting very misty all of a sudden.

Do you know where central park is? I took some pics in there this morning, and there must of been close to 3 inches of snow in there.

Extremely cold night once again -7.3 @ 10pm freezing fog forming. 5 days now with deep snow on the ground, this is really turning into a significant cold spell. Lowest temperature in the vale of York so far this cold spell is -14 ! quite impressive.

Ok mate, i've had about enough of the models and radar tonight, here's to the trend of keeping it cool/cold over the next few days esp xmas :) , models hinting at a possible re-load into the new year :) .

Very light drizzle here now - The precip will certainly need to pep up in order to give anything significant.

It's -5.7c.

Edit- BBC predicted a low for Leeds of -6, but i think we will get lower than that.

As the ppn peps up a little, we too have snow again - fairly light but with more perky ppn to our west, it might be that we have an hour or so or more heavy snow. That's six successive days with falling snow here, and I can't remember the last time that happened.

Just been enjoying Russell Howard on the box, ah yes it has indeed been snowing. A slight dusting. ^^

Heavier snow falling now - whiting out the roads (which had largely cleared earlier) and giving us a fresh dusting.

That's been the low here, tonight. Currently, it's around -4.5°c with what I think may well be some thin high cloud - only the brightest stars are visible, where plenty would be on a completely clear night.
