Must say though, the pptn looks to be going West of Leicester... though I haven't actually looked what track it's meant to take.

Ive been watching these cams over the last hour, That img is brilliant! that stretch of the M4 @ Allt Yr Yn cuts right thru Newport, Its Junction 26 - 8m above sea level!

despite the the southerly winds... max temperture today was 0.6c = coldest of this winter so far! .

I am at around 120m asl. The ppn needs to be muc heavier. This is just a breakaway piece ahead of the main band.

Thicker cloud rolling in now, temperature just dipped below freezing, dew point heading for -2c. Let's hope that doesn't change too much. Some heavy stuff heading straight for me though. Would expect some warnings to be put out for this part of the world soon I would have thought.

Those dews etc are all pointing to snow mate.
