The misses just phoned to tell me its chucking it down with snow in the Forest - if we miss out again i think I will give up my interest in weather and take up pulling out my toe nails with rusty pliers

View from littledean hill in the forest - is that snow/low cloud or fog?

Just been outside & it's deffo got sleet mixed in with the rain.

The radar show the precip band as mostly rain, how come it's chucking it down with snow in Cardiff?

Well, seems my temp might of peaked at 2.8C but the DP was well above 1c so hence no snow.

That said, did have some wet snow in a downpour just now.

I would, but we might also need some epic freezers to, I found some but they still need -2C ambient temp to work properly. (oh and they only shipped to the US at a few thousand $) :drinks:

Heavy sleet now in Nth BTL; bit of a surprise. In fact more snow mixed in than rain.

I am sure you can have plain old rain with the odd bit of sleet in it., just as you can have snow with sleet in it.

Anyway, what ever was falling from the sky has stopped now & the Temp has gone up to 2.1c
