Moderate intensity here with nice big flakes - really settling well. I hope the intensity keeps up for a while!

Odd spit/spots of Rain in the wind now, the main precip band can't be that far now!

Hopefully it will push through quickly, so there's still plenty of snow cover left by morning. Not much chance of snow from this ppn now.

Maybe not much chance of snow but the precip is fairly heavy and it's well below freezing so it could be a good freezing rain event  .

This is just typical. here comes the leeds snowshield that makes the snow break up. this is my last post on here till probs next week because its so depressing when the forecasters hype it up and predict 5-10cm of snow just for them to get it WRONG again! wasted the last 3hours on here so am off to listen to some dance n drink sum winenonono.gif

Precipitation was never forecast to intensify as it progresses northward. As it encounters the cold air so it will fade, and move n/e.smile.gif Lots of oppertunities left thoughbiggrin.gif

I think we are just on the edge here of the sleet and just coming up to the back edge now of the snow.

Noticed that long band down south. Is that due to move up this way does anyone know
