Did you not have some snow about an hour ago? We did! Too wet to settle though... (I'm in Wilmcote so not far from you).

Nope sadly not, just rain/drizzle. No precipitation at all at the moment. I'm still hopeful for something overnight but can't see it settling with puddles everywhere. 2.3c here according to the weather station.

Is this supposed to be some kind of joke? Still pure rain here and raining heavily at that.

Very light snow now here in Wolves, temp still holding at 0.7'c. Snow really needs to get heavier and prolonged now if it's going to accumulate, else I fear what little amount is on the ground could be gone by the morning!.

Temp 0.9c and dewpoint -0.5c all further ppn will I believe now fall as snow. Further heavy looking ppn to our SW could give quite a reasonable covering. I would say MO forecast bang on give or take a few hours. Well done them. Would also recommend the many who spend all their time hopecasting read Ian Ferguson's post in the SW thread. Excellent post from a "real" pro Will hopefully save many on here a lot of anguish given the current charts out to xxx hours showing yet another winter apocalypse.

Praying this band doesn't stall just yet with the light/useless backend sat over us covering us in sleet for hours on end. If it nudges a bit further north we are in with a shot of catching some of those heavy showers tucking in behind the main band. Of course if it doesn't budge they will probably just die before they get here.

Well it is still raining here though I did see a few flakes falling probably about 1 flake to every 100 raindrops so that might be construed as sleet. Those beefy showers will be here soon just hope it's not more bloody rain! Even more galling to see it snowing at Vile park just to rub it in.....

If anyone is getting snow now, wait until you see the beefy showers heading North..

would give you blizzards conditions.
