The day continued with intermittent light to moderate rain, feeling cold and raw in the strong north east wind, the wind chill ranged between –5c and –2c for the most part. The wetter snow yesterday all froze and left blobs of ice on the trees,thawing slowly off them,with a gentle NE wind and sunny with some mid-level cloud and high cloud going in different directions.

Skies have just cleared and the temperature in plumetting! Down 1.5C in the last 30 mins. Currently 0.3C, with light north easterly breeze.

If anyone's interested, here's a link to the Ireland cold thread, to a few pics I took while up the Galtee Mountains near where I live, the snow was over 4ft in some places!

After two very dull days today started cloudy before the cloud broke up in the late morning to allow some sunshine through the afternoon. There was (and still is) a biting NNE breeze with today's max being 3.5c, at present it's partly cloudy, breezy and 2.2c.
