515.8mm here in 2010, just beating 2003 (517.9mm), so the driest probably since 1996.

Finished up with just 703mm here, which is just less than 60% of the average annual total. I think we can call that dry.

Indeed! According to Manley, 60% of annual average is around the value which might be expected for the driest year at any given location over a period of around 200 years. I've kept records for 47 years and have never recorded a year with such a low percentage. You'll probably never see the like again.

Just 703.1 mm here the driest year since 1991. Dec was also the driest here since 1963. Interesting it seems that Summers are getting wetter here while Winters drier. However we only got back to 1955.

Good gracious! But having said that, we're nearly at the end of day two of the year, and have had just 0.4mm of rain so far. By my maths, that means we're on for just 73mm of rain this year. Truly worrying times ahead.

A bit late with this but here they are, As recorded by my Davis VP2 station.

A slightly drier than normal year here, though not as much so as in many other areas.

Jan: 101.2mm

Feb: 78.4mm

Mar: 68.4mm

Apr: 30.4mm

May: 20.2mm

Jun: 41.6mm

Jul: 46.8mm

Aug: 84.6mm

Sep: 92.4mm

Oct: 105.6mm

Nov: 108.8mm

Dec: 32.8mm

Total: 811.4mm

Wettest Day: 42.2mm (17th Nov)

Oddly every month from Nov 2009 to May 2010 had decreasing rainfall totals, and every month from May-Nov 2010 had increasing totals, It looked more like some average totals rather than a specific year.
