Need to work on contrast ratio's to pick up the flakes clearer.

Cool, i have an HD pocket cam too, hardly use it though. And also a Panasonic Lumix.

I still have my cannon camera at my mothers, I'll have to get it! and I'll get some wonderful pictures of the snow fingers crossed.

Models show snow, for tuesday and wednesday, although i'm a little worried regarding dew points. I'll see what the NMM picks up later this evening, and the 12z and re-post.

thats very good john! so many factors for things to be in place and thats why it surprises me that people look at ppn charts seriously that are 3-4days away.

Another splodge of light snow looks likely to cross leeds in the next half hour or so. Seems to be dying out unfortunately, but will be nice for when I go out for a walk in a bit :D

Off topic I know, but GET IN LEEDS!!!!

It's clouding over nicely here now, with hardly any thaw so far.It will be interesting to see how low the temps go tonight.

It just snowed gently out of a clear blue sky here in Lincoln - most bizarre. :winky:

Current temp 0.6 current dew point -3.2 current weather - blue skies with just the occasional wispy cloud.

Absolutely no snow where i live in Humberston. Seems we missed everything, maybe a flurry here and a flurry there in the last 48, but thats about it - aside from last nights rain-fest.

There was a dusting this morning and some frozen patches left over from the previous fall, but it has all just about gone. I was in Scunny yesterday and left there in a blizzard at about 7:30pm

Very good,

you noticed the Tuesday image around here, its snow overlayed on graphics with rain underneath, i think they see the dew point problem. Or am i being paranoid? John will know the answer :drunk:

There is a small warm sector (w.r.t. DP's) to the east that runs through on tues but mostly these are favourable at 0 or less, -7 Uppers so not as cold as been, but these will drop along with DP's later in the day. The NMM Model run monday evening will give a better picture.
