Latest update from David Braine still brings snow to here for tonight so no change from the earlier forecast online, so maybe 10cm by the morning, thats what it suggested anyway.

That would do me.

Jase, still snowing up your way?

SO hard to follow what is going on with this low to be honest....

So what we want is ppt to get north, so when it sinks south, we get hit! AH -- I was thinking, maybe we're slightly too far north but since it's progged to go south eventually then that's good. Probably.

Anyway I'm off to do a C3 Maths paper and hopefully by the time that's done things will have "hotted up" somewhat.

That band of PPN creeping up the east of us is VERY slow moving.

It could be hours before anything happens here ( if at all )

Anyone else having problems posting, seems the site keeps crashing due to the amount of traffic.

Sorry to those who lost their posts earlier. It would appear that my message was missed and the thread was accidently duplicated

Had a heavy snow shower around 1pm, left a slushy mess on pavements but didn't really settle as the sun melted it after. Now -2C, and looking good for snow tonight!

-2C here in Street and a slight NE wind now blowing. Early snow we had around 1pm has now turned to ice on many roads and pathways are deadly! Still not confident about the amount of snow forcast for this area tonight as the low has moved further east.

Ok getting confused again! What are the chances for Swindon looking like now after a few hours? Am i right in saying the majority of the bad snowfall will be back east Reading/Basingstoke way? No snow here at the moment and temps are at -0.1c :whistling:

so what's your prediction then fromey, do you think we will see anything tonight? - Watching the point west forecast it seemed from there we could get something from 10pm onwards on/off until 3am, then maybe more tomorrow lunchtime for a couple of hours?

Or maybe nothing at all :whistling:

:drinks: (im in frome as well)

Still good as the band heads north, then west then south again.
