Evening All,

Well we've ended up with around 4 inches of level snow up here from the fall we had this afternoon.

Hope the forecast comes true!

Phil

Still think this part of Somerset(Street) will see a light dusting but not to the amounts the BBC and others have forcast earlier today,in other words nothing to worry about.

Nothing on radar yet but light snow in Winterbourne. BS36

Just the beginning, I hope. I'm in Winterbourne too, down by the Globe, on the river.

On the radar at the moment it just looks like it wants to go around us. If it moves a little bit east it will come straight down on top of us!!

I'm having more faith now the band seems to be twisting SW just under Birmingham. Lots of heavy ppn still going northwards and to twist round on us and dump on Glos, Bristol/Cardiff, Weston into Somerset, with the whole system sinking slowly South Eastwards

But do I believe my own hype lol????

Utterly gutted down here in Poole centre of the low, snow to the east west and north. Really believed we would see more than 2 cms in last 24 years. I am convinced ive got more chance of winning the lottery than snow in this area.

Paul T what do you think about the swirl of cloud over lands end, I reckon we may get a dumping from that as it is looking like it may move over us

I'm not sure about that.

I can see it moving East, but just slightly sinking south, and missing south Devon.

The GFS is going for lots of moisture around 11pm to 6am, this will hopefully be confirmed with the 18z run.

Starting to snow again here from that line of showers that have travelled down from N Cornwall. only light at moment, settling on the half a cm i currently have!

On raintoday radar it's started to pivot and move south west. At the moment it looks like it's heading into S.E. Wales, but i suppose as it then moves east/S.E. we should get a direct hit in next hour or 2......maybe!
