not much in Southgate, N London. Looking at the radar it seems to be slowing progress north now. Close but no cigar maybe. Looks good for tomorrow though

Snow is falling and settling in Rochester - albeit a little but light. It is still covering and settling, though. More to come by the looks of the radar.

Where are u in Rochester as I can't see any snow at all yet? Thanks

Loving all the snow reports, none here unfortunately!

My problems is I don't really know if I'm East Anglia or South East so listening to all the experienced posters projections can get a bit confusing! :p

MetO 2200 radar looks superb... The eastern flank of the band has intensified!!

And it's just started lightly snowing here.. YEEAH!

a bit weird to have at least something here while you have nothing. Would have expected you to be a bit more in the firing line. Is it pivoting around you?

Looking at the radar this whole event does seem to be slightly further east then forecast, I am surprised that West Sussex and Gr Lon are not in red with the MetO? Nr Banstead with have steady snow and everything is white and we look like being under it as it pivots?

FRANCIS - SKY WEATHER

Band of heavy snow coming back into the south east corner for 6am onwards !! , then snow all day into the south east pushing away to the south later

Yep well worth watching the front to the north, the thing to watch is where the front ends up stalling, if it stalls far enough north then its going to allow another band into Kent, though probably southern Kent more then the northern part...

The NAE progs still some fairly heavy snow for Essex and Kent tomorrow moving south-east between the morning and eveing...

Slightly concerned from an IMBY point of view that there won't be too much further northward movement and the heaviest snow might be to the south of me.

Central London looks like it is about to get blasted
