Its started coming down again - should see a decent fall from this trough / streamer.

I'm going out in this one - could be the last for a few days.

does anyone know why there is a snowfall warning for Sunday? are there any models that show snow for Sunday?

comment by Barb on the Model output thread:-

Latest NOGAPS showing Blizzard #2 from the East for the weekend, was showing earlier too:

nogaps-2-108.png?06-11

ECM and UKMO hint at this too.

Some GFS ensembles showing it too.

Man the snow plows again!

and here's what the winds will be doing:-

basically, a snow conveyor!

Locally 5-10cm more this afternoon in Devon, then some snow showers in North Devon overnight pretty much a nice day tomorrow bit more cloud and the odd shower on Friday/Saturday more widepsread snow Saturday night and into Sunday.

Sounds pretty good to me.

 Looks like the band of ppn from Wiltshire through Somerset is thinning and breaking up. It isn't moving south much at all so missing here. Edited by Mark

Here it comes. An hour of moderate snow is all we can hope for I think. Band dropping south quickly.
