What kind of snowfall depths are we talking about for Sunday/Monday on average?cool.gif

Anyone care to make a prediction?

Something I rarely do, my predictions are not always right :cold:

Widely 10-15cm, 20cm in the Sweet Spot

Lightning off of clacton. Some really potent returns on the radar off the Essex coast.

Stream appears to be setting up :cold:

Evening from the warm climate of my living room here in Folkestone.

Snowing beautifully like last night - think this could be another good night down here.

And stopped in southend! Lol, that was pathetic. Heavy though. Wheres the streamer?! Next 3 min shower please...wind has too much north element for a streamer atm.

Where in Ipswich are you bill, i'm near the copdock (tesco) roundabout, we've had only light snow here, this january set up is panning out to be a bit poor for my area - much like the feb 2009 episode.

Just had some proper snow here in Westcliff that lasted a whole 5 mins or so...big flakes though that had no problem settling even on wet roads. Hope there's more tonight! Maybe we should have our own film - men who like to stare at lampposts :whistling:

Hi all,

Going to try and attach some photo's of the snow from yesterday, had a request to show the uprooted tree and snapped branches from the weight of the snow. The tree falling must of happened just before we got there as the roots where still covered in earth with the snow still falling and everything around was white. Hopefully all works OK, sorry if not!

Shame - the clump of shower activity in the north sea off the Norfolk coast almost refuses to hit land. They look quite beefy out to sea only for them to completely disapear as the approach land. Was really hoping that a few would make it through the wash and slip down into Cambridgeshire. Almost certain now its going to be a dry, clear night - oh and quite chilly..!

Larger shower on NW radar over Clacton/Harwich looks like it may miss Leigh-on-Sea, maybe pass near to Rayleigh...?
