Now snowing again in WF6

Wouldn't say light but not moderate either???

Just lots of it but very small flakes

got a nice covering though!!!

A bit heavier now seems to have pepped up over South Yorks?

Still snowing lightly here so not adding much some bigger flakes back in it again. More on Saturday possibly.

Its even snowing lightly here and settling-pretty unique for Doncaster-its the 9th day of snow falling this month.

Pity about the warmer air that caused the freezing drizzle overnight and this morning. 850's didn't show any warm pool so which level was it hiding at???

Paul hudson on look north thinks we will be back to cold at the begining of next week, with the possibility of some snow on saturday.....does this mean it will be getting cold, a little colder, or very cold...any thoughts??cc_confused.gif

Not if the ECM has its way! GFS and UKMO look interesting. If were going to see a return of the cold it will be from the East. This looks a good possibility at the moment with perhaps sunshine and wintry showers returning at some point next week. One to watch :good: Snow on Saturday is very unlikely IMO. Something wintry to high ground as the precipitation pushes North is possible though

The snow on Saturday was always on the cards. The comment about cold air returning is interesting.

I wasnt sure as we seem to be on one hell of a rollercoaster ride with the weather. Huddersfield here, been snowing for a few hours, light to moderate...good covering. I have never, ever, heard of people having to walk on their hands and knees on the pavements and roads before because the ice was so bad!!cold.gifoops.gif

Steady moderate snow fall for past 15mins or so here in North Leeds, settling well.
