Moderate-heavy sleet and wet snow at first this morning with a f7 S/SE wind.The sleet turned to light rain by 1030 and died out by midday, as the main rain/sleet area cleared to the east the wind rapidily decreased to f2-3.

Thick fog almost all day as the thaw continues.

Today was the 7th consecutive day with no sunshine, the longest sunless spell since 2001 when there was also a 7 day spell.

Mildest day for some time now in the Stockholm area!

Today we hade a maxima of -1°c with clouds and some light flurries and just a few degrees below that at night, balmy!

It seems that the next days will stick just below freezing at day with large cloud extents, and later maybe some colder weather!

A miserable dank rather cold day. Max of 5 degrees, so only average, and with the low cloud and drizzly murk it felt cold.

Hoping we will see some sunshine tomorrow, however, it looks fairly cloudy which is likely to supress temps somewhat, perhaps we will scrape 6 degrees, the mildest day since 10th Dec.

How ironic is this...during the snowy period Northants missed much of the heavy precip, yet when the mild SW winds come in and the rain is lashing down we get heavy precip.

Another day with no sunshine whatsoever, the 8th in a row now. There was some quite heavy rain this morning, followed by light drizzle for the rest of the day which has turned heavier again in the last couple of hours. Milder than recent days but still cold, with a maximum temperature of 4.8C.

Currently overcast with light rain and a temperature of 4.6C. It now stands at 33 days since 5C was last reached, impressive indeed.

Cloudy all day in Norwich with drizzly rain and a moderately strong south-westerly wind. Some people have been commenting on how much better it has been to be able to walk without worrying about slipping on the snow and ice, which is understandable, but when I went for my traditional 15 minute Saturday morning walk to the local shops, I must say I found today's driving drizzly rain a lot more unpleasant than the slippery conditions underfoot last Saturday.

The 7th consecutive day with no sunshine- a huge turnaround from 31 December-9 January which had at least some sunshine on every day.

Heavy rain overnight with strong winds gave about 22mm of rain which made the river very high during the morning before dropping a bit in the afternoon. Heavy rain earlier this evening/late afternoon brought the total up to 32.8mm and the river is now very high again. Very little sunshine again which is also our 7th day of such conditions. Looking forward to some sunshine tomorrow!
