Morning all!

Snowing heavily here and sticking to all surfaces :unknw:

Hands up it was a good early call by the meto / BBC, I felt sure only the highest ground would see snow, so glad to be proved wrong. Must be about 2cm lying here now and temp is 0.7C

Good Morning, peeps!

Snowing here in Downend. Getting heavier and settling on the grass and shed/garage roofs.

It's a bit late this week though, it usually snows on a Tuesday. :D

Hope everyone gets a nice dumping. :drinks:

Rained all night here, started snowing about half an hour ago; it's coming down fast but showing no signs of settling, everywhere's too wet.

Starting to get heavier again here in Winterbourne. Had a covering on the car and the grass but nothing on pavements and roads yet. The way it is snowing now though is going to start settling on other surfaces.

I love the way the precip is shown as rain here!! Sadly, looking at the radar there is a big hole in the precipitation coming towards Bristol now.

Wow, really big flakes now!! Shame it can't last.

Starting to get heavier again here in Winterbourne.

Getting heavier again in Downend too. The temperature has plummeted since I got home from work at 8.30 and my neighbour's weathervane shows the wind to be coming from the NE. I wonder if there is a battle brewing between the Pesterly and the Beasterly? We can but hope!

Morning,

Its Wednesday, it must be snow day!

Had to clear a good centimetre from the car this morning, drove into Swindon, slushy roads in town.Car thermo reading -1C but thats usually a degree too low.

Steady moderate/ heavy stuff falling, any elevation should see it stick well (re birdlip hill closed southbound according to beeb).
