I am wondering if there is anyone from Cambs/Herts/Beds awake to confirm that the band of ppn heading down is:

1. Of snow

2. Of any decent velocity (i.e: Is it worth me staying awake for???)

Any reports from there would be handy, but it looks like many people will wake up to a dusting as far as the latest radar goes. (Although the NW radar is wounded at the moment and stuck at 20:00??)

Well it's snowing in Central London!!

Just light, but a few flakes to brighten me up (although it seems that I am probably the only fruitcake sitting up at this time), but YAY!

Very Mild, wet and windy, overcast, yuck, 12C.

No really it's 0C, gloriously sunny clear blue skies and a crisp cold northerly breeze but the first statement is the way some are acting at the moment like it's been an awful winter and that the awfulness of the week ahead will ruin that :D

Cold and sunny here too. Currently 2.0 after an overnight low of -1.6, wind light NW.

Yesterday: patchy light rain cleared late morning to leave sunny intervals and one heavy shower with some hail mid afternoon (in Basingstoke we had sleet and snow in the mix too). Maximum 5.7, minimum 4.3, wind moderate NW.

Gorgeous day with never quite clear blue skies but certainly a good 7/8 of the sky is clear with rest being little cumulus clouds, very nice to the sun out which is just starting to have a bit of warmth to it again at this time of year.

Overnight low of -2.1c, and its currently 3.1c with the dusting of hail still there in the shade.

Lovely day - clear blue skies with a warm feeling sun. A cold start but now around 3c.

Bit of a cold wind out but out of it and in the sun it feels lovely. Certainly looks good out there after the many weeks of grey skies.

Northerlies = good weather in winter and early spring!
