a half hour shower gave about 5 mill of snow. temps dropped enough today for any showers to let the snow lay rather than melt on contact with the ground

Can only guess that there is a few inches lying on the road here in Folkestone and it continues to fall, certainly got at least 5cm on the road as of now, as for the garden probably double that.

After all the snow showers yesterday have had a good 3 inches of snow overnight :)

Nearer 4" I think Callie!!! :shok: Friday Street is eerily quiet - no traffic this morning, and that includes me!

Guest North Sea Snow Convection

Several inches of snow here in the A28 suburbs - heavy snow showers from yesterday afternoon (and most especially overnight) and on towards midday.

Light flurries remaining now as the snow streamer finally is stopping

Another great snow even in this most productive of wintersbiggrin.gif

Been up to Consett (Co.Durham) today in the car and can report quite a bit of snow up there. Probably around 2-3 inches, more where it had drifted.

Snow shower here about an hour ago which whitened the roofs and ground, slowly thawing now though.

Currently snowing in Eastbourne, nothing heavy but still snow flakes falling!! We did have a few periods of less intense snow this time yesterday, but nothing really came of that either.

Light sleet falling here, a mixture of drizzle, snow grains and very small snow flakes.
